If I Had It All Again to Do Lyrics

It was good enough for my dad and his daddy too
A cattle farm down by a little stream
A child that was so happy became restless as I grew
'Till it was no longer good enough for me
It's where seven generations made their livin' and their life
I would be the first to move away
I still see mom and daddy as they waved me goodbye
And the painful tears runnin' down their face
The world was changin' around us
I thought I had to follow too
But I'd sure make a world of changes
If I had it all again to do
The place just slowly ran down as time passed on through
Dad just didn't have the hands to make it go
And all of my brothers soon went their own way too
Chasin' something they'd still never know
The world was changin' around us
I thought I had to follow too

But I'd sure make a world of changes
If I had it all again to do
If I had it all again to do
