If You Didn't Love Me Lyrics

A broken bat in the grass
Takin one too many fastballs tired of swingin
Spinnin wheels, grindin gears
Goin nowhere in a downpour, mud just slingin
Thats what it feels like, climbin up hill all the way
Like lifes a wild horse, I aint ever gonna breakIf you didnt love, if you didnt love
If you didnt love me
I dont know how, I dont know how I could do this
If you didnt love, if you didnt love
If you didnt love me
I dont know how Id get through this
If you didnt love me, if you didnt love meA mountain top, another shot
A born again and put some fight back
In me sunrise, oh yeah
Thats what it feels like wakin up in your arms, girl
Without your sweet smile itd sure be a tougher worldIf you didnt love, if you didnt love
If you didnt love me
I dont know how, I dont know how I could do this

If you didnt love, if you didnt love
If you didnt love me
I dont know how Id get through this
If you didnt love meSometimes it feels like
Im runnin straight into the wind
You whisper three words
And its at my back again
Yeah, its at my back againIf you didnt love, if you didnt love
If you didnt love me
I dont know how, I dont know how I could do this
If you didnt love, if you didnt love
If you didnt love me
I dont know how Id get through thisIf you didnt love me, if you didnt love me
If you didnt love me, if you didnt love me, yeah

Phil Stacey's defining moment on American Idol came during Country Week, well into the competition. “Country Week was the first one that had anything to do with my background," he says. "It was my chance to sing music I could really relate to, that drew on who I am and what I'd grown up around." Phil’s path toward a country music career began in a childhood molded by two equally strong influences. The first was the ministry, which had shaped both sides of his family for generations. The other was music. Phil grew up singing in church and later became a member of the prestigious Lee Singers.
