If You Ever Stop Loving Me Lyrics

My old mans back hand used to land
Hard on the side of my head
I just learned to stay out of his way
But then street fights, blue lights, long nights
With the world sittin' on my chest
It just showed me how much I can takeHard times, bad luck
Sometimes life sucksThats alright, Im okay
It aint nothing but another day
But only God knows where Id be
If you ever stop lovin meThe bank man, the bossman, the lawman
All tryin to get their hands on me
And I aint even done a damn thing wrong
I been waylaid, freight trained, short changed
By bigger and badder men
And all I got to say is bring it onHard rain, rough roads
So my life goesThats alright, Im okay
It aint nothing but another day
But only God knows where Id be

If you ever stop lovin meI need you, gotta have you
In my life by my side everyday I'm alive
Every night that Im breathin, Im needin
YouThats alright, Im okay
It aint nothing but another day
But only God knows where Id be
If you ever stop lovin meIt aint nothing but another day
But only God knows where Id be
If you ever stop lovin me
If you ever stop lovin me
You see [Incomprehensible]
If I came to my knees
Yeah, yeah

Montgomery Gentry is a country music duo, founded in the 1990s, consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is the older brother of John Michael Montgomery. Some sources say that Troy Gentry is the son of Bobbie Gentry, which is untrue. Troy's parents are Lloyd and Pat Gentry. Eddie, Troy, and John were in a band called Early Tymz. Eddie and Troy continued to perform after John left to pursue a solo career. The duo went through several name changes before they decided to call themselves Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is bald and seemingly always wears a hat. Eddie also has a habit of twirling his microphone on stage, which has become somewhat of a signature.

The band has released five CDs including "Some People Change" which was released in 2006
