If You Feel the Way I Do (1991 Remaster) Lyrics

If you feel the way I do
And you're all alone
On a lost and lonely avenue
And you need someoneWe could build a dream together
Just for me and you
If you feel the same way that I doDo you need someone to set you free
From your broken past?
I wish that someone could be me
We could make it lastWe could build a dream together
Just for me and you
If you feel the same way that I doGirl, you mean that much to me
What more can I say?
Guess, I just don't wanna see
True love slip awaySo forget those thoughts of yesterday
Still lingering
Tangled dreams get in the way
Of a brand new thingWe could build a dream together
Just for me and you

If you feel the same way that I doWe could build a dream together
Just for me and you
If you feel the same way that I do
If you feel the same way that I doWe could build a dream together
Just for me and you

The Lettermen are an American pop music vocal group. The Lettermen's trademark is close-harmony pop songs with light arrangements. They were popular mainly with adult audiences during the 1960s. The group was formed in late 1950s by Mike Barnett, Dick Stewart and Tony Butala. They auditioned for Jackie Barnett, chief comedy writer for the Jimmy Durante TV show. They landed the part to impersonate The Rhythm Boys, the vocal group that traveled with Paul Whiteman and his orchestra in the late 1920s, and gave Bing Crosby his initial fame.
