If the World Should Want for Love Lyrics

If the world should want for love
I'll be ready to believe
And the dreams it's tired of
I'll be there to disagreeEvery star that dares to stray
Ever spinning on the world...
Love... Burn... Burn...
You stay with meIf the time that we have spent
Really means so little to you
Every promise was well meant
Though I couldn't keep them to youEvery hour you lie awake
Every shiver, every heart ache
Burn... Burn...
You stay with meAs the day turns
You stay with meDon't you know the sun
The skies, the moonlit night
Are always there for freeOpen up your eyes
To all the magic night
You know that's all

That we will ever need...If one day you think of me
In the colours that you gave me
With a rush of tenderness
Every moment it is preciousIf one day you think of me
Just remember we are young onceLost... Once...
You gave your heart to meYoung... Once...
You gave your heart to meWe are young... Once...
And you gave your heart for free...
