I'll Always Stay Lyrics

We played those games
That no one ever wins, girl, yeah, yeah, yeah
Saying all kinds of words causing heartaches
Never knowing who's to blameBut I know it's worth what we've been through
Because I'm so glad to be a part of youBecause of everything you do I never will stop loving you
You always come through no matter what you do
Because of, ooh, ooh, ooh, you're my everythingListen to me, girl
You're always there when I need someone to talk to
You've given me more love every time
We shared our dreams and now our dreams are our realities
The whole wide world is out there waiting for you and meBut I know it's worth what we've been through
Because I'm so glad to be in love with youBecause of everything you do I never will stop loving you
You always come through no matter what you do
Because of everything you do I never will stop loving you
You're my everythingYeah, yeah, you know girl, sometimes when I'm alone
Often wonder about the good things in my life
[Incomprehensible] on thinking what a lucky man I am
To have someone, special as you are, yeahSomeone to care for me, feel for me

Hold me and touch me and love, love, love, love meSome people go through life
Without ever finding that special someone for them
But I have
And it's you and it's you, you, you, you, you, yeah, yeah, yeah
Talking about you, I'll never ever, ever, ever, never stop loving you
Caring for you

Cameo is a funk group which formed in 1974 in New York City, New York, United States. The band's lineup has constantly fluctuated since its formation, with the only constant being vocalist Larry Blackmon.

An outlandish, in-your-face stage presence, a strange sense of humor, and a hard-driving funk sound that criss-crossed a few musical boundaries earned Cameo countless comparisons to Parliament/Funkadelic in their early days. However, Cameo eventually wore off accusations of being derivative by transcending their influences and outlasting almost every single one of them. Throughout the '70s and '80s, the group remained up with the times and occasionally crept ahead of them, such that they became influences themselves upon younger generations of R&B and hip-hop acts. By the time the group's popularity started to fizzle in the late '80s, a series of R&B chart hits -- ranging from greasy funk workouts to synthesized funk swingers to dripping ballads -- was left in their wake. Further separating Cameo from their forebears, they didn't have a diaper-clad guitarist. Instead, they had a codpiece-wearing lead vocalist, Larry Blackmon.
