I’ll Meet You In Church Sunday Morning Lyrics

On Sunday when the church bells start ringin'
They're ringin' for you and for me
Let's all gather 'round at the alter
And pray that our souls may be freeI'll meet you in the church Sunday mornin'
And we'll all kneel down and pray
We'll pray to our Lord up in heaven
To guide us safe home on our wayIt's a place where we all meet on Sunday
To worship our Lord up above
And let all our sins be forgiven
And meet with our loved ones aboveIn heaven I hear a voice callin'
From the land where there's no endless days
Let's all be prepared to meet Jesus
the path is narrow too at home far away

The Stanley Brothers (Carter Stanley, 1925-1966, and Ralph Stanley, born 1927) were an American bluegrass duo originally hailing from Dickenson County, Virginia. The family soon moved to McClure, Virginia, where their parents worked a small farm in the Clinch Mountains. Music was a part of their lives from the word go, as they were able to listen to the likes of The Monroe Brothers, Mainer's Mountaineers, and other artists featured on the Grand Ole Opry radio program.
