There are two artists called The Throne: 1. The Throne is the hip-hop duo consisting of rappers Jay-Z & Kanye West which formed in 2010. Their debut album, entitled Watch the Throne, was released on 8 August 2011 to critical acclaim. Jay-Z has indicated that another collaboration is forthcoming. 2. The Throne is a Polish post-metal/hardcore band formed in late 2009. Their music is a crossover between slow post-rock soundscapes and heavy sludge parts. They’e released an EP called Fig.2 in 2010, which was acclaimed very well.
