I'm About To Come Alive Lyrics

I can hear you downstairs crying on the phone
Telling someone that Im here but you still feel all alone
Maybe we were too young, goodbye, I gotta go
I can hear the baby waking up, gotta get back to the life I knowI should've never believed him
Maybe I should just leave himMaybe Im not but youre all I've got left to believe in
Dont give up on me Im about to come alive
I know that its been hard and its been a long time coming
Dont give up on me Im about to come aliveNo one thought I was good enough for you, except for you
Dont let them be right after all that weve been through
Cause somewhere over that rainbow
Theres a place for me, a place with youMaybe Im not but youre all I've got left to believe in
Dont give up on me Im about to come alive
I know that its been hard and its been a long time coming
Dont give up on me Im about to come aliveIn every frame upon our wall lies a face thats seen it all
Through ups and downs and then more downs
We've helped each other off of the ground
No one knows what weve been through
Making it aint making it without youMaybe Im not but youre all I've got left to believe in

Dont give up on me Im about to come alive
I know that its been hard and its been a long time coming
Dont give up on me Im about to come alive
Im about to come alive, Im about to come alive

Growing up in a small southeastern Missouri town, David Nail might’ve chosen to follow any of the dreams that drifted by like the riverboats on the mighty Mississippi: but in the end, it was music that called his name. “I was definitely more into sports growing up,” says the Midwest native, “I think I was expected to play in college, but as I grew older I became more interested in music. After my senior year, I had a few small college offers to play baseball.
