I'm All Right (For the Shape I'm In) Lyrics

Well I woke up this morning and I looked outside
And all I had was gone
Then I started wondering
"What else could go wrong?"I got them weary violated blues
Broken hearted and nothin' to loose
But I'm all right for the shape I'm inOh well I don't know why I'm not over the edge
I done my duty, I took the pledge
Never want to live that way againNow I can hear that tick of the clock
I take a lickin' but I don't stop
And I'm all right for the shape I'm inTired and torn and tattered
Holes in both my shoes
And it's rained on almost everything I useStanding outside in the pouring rain
Getting my poor house rearranged
But I'm all right for the shape I'm inTired and torn and tattered
Holes in both my shoes
And it's rained on almost everything I doStanding outside in the pouring rain
Getting my poor house rearranged
But I'm all right for the shape I'm in

Yes I'm all right for the shape I'm in

BR549 is an American country music band. The group was formed in Nashville in 1993 by co-leads Gary Bennett and Chuck Mead. Their music, referred to as alternative country or neotraditional, contains elements of western swing and rockabilly. They eschew modern Top 40 pop-country for a more raw, honky-tonk sound, with songs about 50s pin-up/dominatrix Bettie Page and The Ramones. They took their name from a telephone number regularly used in a Junior Samples sketch on the television show Hee Haw.
