I'm Falling Lyrics

First last night we're riding home
With friends in a big blue car
For this man fed us rubbish
As if it were caviarWe told him, "Sir, please go away
We're innocent of crimes"
He hit me with his black nightstick
And all I heard were criesI'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm fallingI asked her for a date one night
She thought it'd be a laugh
I'd take her to a restaurant
And then I took her pathI waited at my house that night
For her phone call to come
She'd gone off with a wealthy man
Who came from mile longI'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm falling

I'm falling, I'm fallingI'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, I'm falling
I'm falling, yes I'm falling

Ministry was formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1981 by Alain Jourgensen (born Oct. 8, 1958, Havana, Cuba), who had previously been in a new wave band called Special Affect (fronted by future My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult leader Frankie Nardiello, aka Groovie Mann). With drummer Stephen George, Ministry debuted with the Wax Trax! single Cold Life, which -- typical of their early output -- was in the synth pop/dance style of new wavers like the Human League and Thompson Twins.
