I'm Going to Cross That River Lyrics

I'm goin' to the river,
Gonna jump overboard and drown
Because the girl I love
She just done let me downNow when she left me
I bowed my head and cried
When she left me,
I bowed my head and cried
I never though I would be,
I would be the one to cryIf you see my mama,
Tell her good-bye for me
I you see my mama,
Tell her good-bye for me
I'm tired of livin'
Livin' in miseryIf you see my mama,
Tell her good-bye for me
If you see my mama,
Tell her good-bye for me
Ya know I'm tired of livin'

Livin' in misery.

Antoine Dominique "Fats" Domino (born February 26, 1928 in New Orleans, Louisiana), is a classic R&B and rock and roll singer, songwriter and pianist. He was the best-selling African-American singer of the 1950s and early 1960s whose congenial, non threatening personality allowed him to succeed despite a period of deep-seated racial segregation. Domino is also a pianist with an individualistic bluesy style showing stride and boogie-woogie influences.
