I'm Gonna Kill That Woman Lyrics

Yeah, my baby left me this morning
And I don't care now--I don't care what the people sayYeah, I did everything that I could, everything I could
Lord knows I did everything I could
I tried to satisfy her worried mind--that's what I didYou know she was nothing but trouble, trouble
She keep me worried all the time
God knows her movements are killing meYeah, my baby stayed out all night long, all night long
She keep me worried all the time

John Lee Hooker (Coahoma County, Mississippi, August 22, 1917 – Los Altos, California, June 21, 2001) was a highly influential American blues singer, guitarist and songwriter. John Lee Hooker could be said to embody his own unique genre of the blues, often incorporating the boogie-woogie piano style and a driving rhythm into his masterful and idiosyncratic blues guitar and singing. His best known songs include "Boogie Chillen" (1948) and "Boom Boom" (1962).
