I'm Lonely Lyrics

Four o'clock in the morning baby,
and I'm all alone
Waiting on a telephone call baby,
I wanna moan
I know I can't call no doctor
Doctor can't cure my ills
I need you baby
To cure my ill
I'm lonely
I'm lonely baby
I'm lonely
I need your love baby
I wanna call you up but I
everytime I call your brother answer
the phone
and he say what in the hell do you want D
won't you leave my sister alone
Alright I been trying to get in contact with you baby

but I (incomprehensible) and my gas is low,
but I wanna keep on trying baby
till I just can't try no more, and I'm lonely baby oh baby I'm lonely I need your love
Baby you wanna hurt me so bad
You love me baby
But I kept on keeping on cos I'm a strong man baby

William Daron Pulliam (October 5, 1946 – June 9, 2013), who performed in the 1970s under the name Darondo, was a funk and soul singer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Although he is not widely recognized today, serious enthusiasts of the soul genre consistently rate him in high regard. The mythology surrounding Darondo describes him as a pimp, although he has denied this claim. His performing name is said to have originated as a compliment from a waitress who was fond of his generous tipping habits.
