I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry (1995 Remaster) Lyrics

Hear that lonesome whippoorwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
I'm so lonesome I could cryI've never seen the night so long
When time just goes crawling by
The moon just went, oh, behind the cloud
To hide its face and cryWell, the silence of a falling star
Lights up the purple sky
As I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry
Yes, I'm so lonesome I could cry
