I'm Sorry (Original Version) Lyrics

For you it's hard to say I'm sorry
You know it's just the same for me
Goodbye my friend, goodbye my friendYou think you're not to blame for this
I'm feeling just the same hopeless
Goodbye my friend, goodbye my friend
GoodbyeI'm sorry, I'm leaving, I'm sorry for seeing
The side of you that is oh so deceiving
All I see, all the lies I believed in
I'm sorry, I'm leavingI thought you would have changed by now
You fooled me once again somehow
Goodbye my friend, goodbye my friendI always rearrange my life
Now all I've got to say is goodbye, goodbyeI'm sorry, I'm leaving, I'm sorry for seeing
The side of you that is oh so deceiving
All I see, all the lies I believed in
I'm sorry, I'm leavingI'm sorry, I really mean it
So this ends and I'm walking out the front door
Now I know that there's nothing left to fight for
Every time I open my eyesFor you it's hard to say I'm sorry

You know it's just the same for meThe side of you that is oh so deceivingI'm sorry, I'm leaving, I'm sorry for seeing
The side of you that is oh so deceiving
All I see, all the lies I believed in
I'm sorry, I'm leavingI'm sorry, I really mean it
So this ends, now I'm walking out the door
Now I'm walking out the doorI know there's nothing left for me to fight forI'm sorry, I'm leaving
I'm sorry, I know there's nothing left for me to fight for
I'm sorry, I'm leavingI'm sorry, I really mean it
Now that I have opened my eyes

The Veer Union was formed in late 2004 by vocalist Crispin and guitarist Eric. Originally from Port Alberni, BC, the two longtime friends surprisingly found themselves living as neighbors: "we knew each other previously because we had played in bands together. We were both living out of our rehearsal studios in downtown East Vancouver," recalls Crispin. At the time Crispin was the front man of Everything After, where creative differences led to his departure. Crispin was gaining attention as a songwriter with credits on Motley Crue's drummer Tommy Lee's solo CD Tommyland: The Ride.
