I'm in a Hurry (And Don't Know Why) Lyrics

I'm in a hurry to get things done
Ohh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
Even I'm in a hurry and don't know why?Don't know why? I have to drive so fast
My car has nothing to prove
It's not new
But it'll do zero to sixty in five point twoI'm in a hurry to get things done
Ohh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why? Can't be late, I leave in plenty of time
Shakin' hands with the clock
I can't stop
I'm on a roll and I'm ready to rockOhh I'm in a hurry to get things done
Ohh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
(All I got)
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why?Ohh, I hear a voice
That says I'm running behind

I better pick up my pace
It's a race and there ain't
No room for someone in second placeTu tu tu tu tu tu tu tu
Tu tu tu tu tu tu tu tuI'm in a hurry to get things done
I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why?I'm in a hurry to get things done
(I don't know why)
Ohh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
(All I got)
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why?I'm in a hurry to get things done
Ohh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
(All I got)
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why?I'm in a hurry to get things done
Ohh I rush and rush until life's no fun
All I really gotta do is live and die
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why?

Alabama is a country music band from Fort Payne, Alabama that was started in 1969 but did not get a recording contract until 1977. Alabama began by singing for tips around Myrtle Beach before going on to sell millions of records. They were among the first successful country groups since the mid-1970s, thanks to their blend of contemporary and traditional country and southern rock. On July 4-93 they opened a $7-million, 2,200-seat theater, located in Barefoot Landing-Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

The members of Alabama are:

- Randy Owen (vocals and rhythm guitar)
- Teddy Gentry, (vocals and bass guitar)
- Jeff Cook (lead guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin)
- Mark Herndon (drums and percussion)

Along with the Oak Ridge Boys and the Statler Brothers, Alabama is recognized as having paved the way for today's top country groups, including Diamond Rio, Lonestar and Rascal Flatts.
