I'm the Man Lyrics

When I woke up with the sunlight
And dreams echoing through my head
And I heard you breathing softly
I remember the things you saidThere is no time, there is no place
That you would rather be
Than the good times, all the hard times
As long as youre here with me'Cause Im the man who holds my ground
Im the man who sticks around
Im the man to hold you tight
'Cause Im a man enough with you, with youWhen I lay down and the moon is bright
At the end of a working day
I got a feeling Ive been leavin'
And I wont let it slip away'Cause there is no time, there is no place
That you would rather be
In the cruel world on a cold night
As long as youre here with me, yeahIm the man who holds my ground
Im the man who sticks around
Im the man to hold you tight

'Cause Im a man enoughAnd Im the man to make it right
Im the man you kiss goodnight
Im the man who wont let you down
'Cause Im a man enough'Cause it cant get much better
And all we have is time
As long as were together
I know its gonna be alright'Cause Im the man who holds my ground
Im the man who sticks around
Im the man to hold you tight
'Cause Im a man enoughAnd Im the man to make it right
Im the man you kiss goodnight
Im the man who wont let you down
'Cause Im a man enough with you, with you, with youIn love with you
