Immortality (Original Demo Version) Lyrics

So this is who I am,
And this is all I know
And I must choose to live
For all that I can give
The spark that makes the power growBut I will stand for my dream if I can
Symbol of my faith in who I am
But you are my onlyAnd I must follow on the road that lies ahead
And I won't let my heart control my head
But you are my onlyAnd we don't say goodbye
We don't say goodbye
And I know what I've got to beImmortality
I make my journey through eternity
I keep the memory of you and me insideFulfill your destiny
Is there within the child?
My storm will never end
My fate is on the wind
The king of hearts, the joker's wildBut we don't say goodbye
We don't say goodbye

I'll make them all remember me'Cause I have found a dream that must come true
Every ounce of me must see it through
But you are my onlyI'm sorry I don't have a role for love to play
Hand over my heart I'll find my way
I will make them give to me (yeah)Immortality (oh baby)
There is a vision and a fire in me (oh)
I keep the memory of you and me, insideWe don't say goodbye
We don't say goodbye
And all my love for you
And what else we may do?
We don't say goodbye

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
