In Broad Daylight Lyrics

You saw a smile as you turned away.
No way of knowing if he'll stay here.
You're the last to arrive, first to disappear.
You said you memorized the maze.
No way of knowing if the Sun comes up.
You're the last to give, first to take enough.
Who would've known what the years could drag us through?
Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Who would've known what the years could drag us through?
Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Use soda pops before you both
know where I'm going if you're left to say;
You're the last to stay, first to run away.
Who would've known what the years could drag us through?

Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Who would've known what the years could drag us through?
Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Grew up overnight and left in broad daylight.
Left in broad daylight.

The band consists of Morgan (vocals, piano/organ/keyboards), Eric Hehr (guitar), Dan Duszynski (guitar, vocals), Matt Minx (bass), Adam Kaltenhauser (drums). They performed for the first time in December of 2009 with a sold out headlining show in their hometown of Chicago at The Beat Kitchen, coinciding with the release of the "Gold Motel" EP.
