In the Day We'll Never See Lyrics

There's a fireI was born onto the earth
Mama died on the night of my birth
I grew up with no place to jam
Just hearing the talk of somewhere rememberingWhen all the children sang
And all you heard was the word
It's funny how we've changed
We're getting closerTo the day, we'll never see
The rising sun, it's setting
In the day, we'll never see
What have we done?Crucify, while you stand by
You hear the call, don't blink an eye
Where will you go? Nowhere to run
What can we save when the damage is done? The world is spinning round
The light of the moon is now the tear of the clown
Hear the word, it's coming down
We're getting closerTo the day, we'll never see
The rising sun, it's setting
In the day, we'll never see

We're getting closerTo the day, we'll never see
The rising sun, it's setting
In the day, we'll never see
What have we done? The world is spinning round
The light of the moon is now the tear of the clown
Hear the word, it's coming down
We're getting closer, getting closerTo the day, we'll never see
The rising sun, it's setting
In the day, we'll never see
What have we done?
What have we done?To the day, we'll never see
The rising sun, it's setting
In the day, we'll never see
The time has come
The time has comeTo the day, we'll never see
In the day, we'll never see
In the day, we'll never see
In the day, we'll never see
In the day, in the day

Winger is an American hard rock band formed in New York City, in 1987, that gained popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's two platinum albums, Winger and In the Heart of the Young, along with charting singles "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak" and "Miles Away", put the band on the top of the charts by the early 1990s. In 1990, the band was nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band". As the music scene changed in the early to mid-1990s due to the popularity of grunge, the band faded after their third release, Pull.
