Indestructible Lyrics

And I know, I'm indestructible
And I know, I'm indestructible
Tonight!Break down! Come on tell me its not true
It's a shakedown! Come on tell me who are you
It's so fake now, everything I see right through
I'm ashamed now, to say I ever know youSee, the Great Athenians, man, their not even from Athens
And the kid from Avenue "A", man, he ain't even from Manhattan
And nothing is what it seems so I'll just stand here laughing
I'm gonna keep on going though, I can't get distractedAnd I know, I'm indestructible
And I know, I'm indestructible
Tonight!Playback Rock and Roll come and save me
It's a safe bet that you will never ever betray me
And I'll give back everything that you gave me
And I know that no one can ever ever contain meAnd I won't get bogged down like some American consumer, nah
And I'm dancing now to a whole different drummer
And I'll keep listening to the great Joe Strummer
cause through music, we can live foreverAnd I know, I'm indestructible
And I know, I'm indestructible

Tonight!

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
