Inside Lyrics

InsideGotta get away so I can write some more
TV on and record playing, what's it for
Career move is watching you travel farWatch a building being built, the pieces are
Replacing what's missing inside your heart
In the distance dying on your bedroom floor
Playing songs I used to knowGonna get my things and take them down
Gotta find a friend and move around
I'm not satisfied with staying here
Playing what seems pretty clear
I'm gonna get my things and take them down (It's alright)
Gotta find a friend and move around
I'm not satisfied with staying here (Here we are)
Playing what seems pretty clear
I'm gonna get my things and take them down (Inside)
Gotta find a friend and move around
I'm not satisfied with staying here
Playing what seems pretty clearSending letters back and forth
What can we do

Here's a mountain and a heartbeat
Just for you
Situation tells me that we're going to
Even if we have to payGonna get my things and take them down
Gotta find a friend and move around
I'm not satisfied with staying here
Playing what seems pretty clearIt's alright
Here we are
InsideIt's alright (It's alright)
Here we are (Here we are)
Inside (We're inside)
(We're alright)It's alright
Here we are
We're inside
We're alrightIt's alright (It's alright)
Here we are (Here we are)
Inside (We're inside)
(We're alright)It's alright (It's alright)
Here we are (Here we are)
Inside (We're inside)
(We're alright)

New Buffalo is Melbourne-based singer, songwriter, and performer Sally Seltmann (born 1975) - otherwise known as Sally Russell before her marriage to Darren Seltmann of The Avalanches. Sally grew up in Sydney where she was the vocalist and one of the founding members of power pop group Lustre 4, as well as playing guitar in Spdfgh in the 1990s. She then moved to Melbourne, Australia and re-invented her musical style to create New Buffalo. She adopted a sound that replaced guitars with keyboards over smooth paced bass and soothing beats.
