Inside Out Lyrics

Sloppy Joes, 10 Dollar Buckets
Who's got a Zig Zag, I got the Chong
Cover band plain' Lyle Lovett
And you and me the only one's singing along
Body like smoke sun-kissed heaven
Jesus fish there on your wrist
Drop a penny in my seven and seven
You say a prayer and I'll make a wishI'd love to get you out of this bar
Right into the seat of my car
Girl, we don't have to look that hard
To find a little moonlight, baby it's alright
No it don't matter where we go
Just as long as I can hold you close
Kiss Your lips get you thinkin' about
Maybe turning them blue jeans inside outI can tell I got you thinking
Leaning in and ready to roll
Let's put these city lights in the rear view
Give me the green light smile and let's goI'd love to get you out of this bar

Right into the seat of my car
Girl, we don't have to look that hard
To find a little moonlight, baby it's alright
No it don't matter where we go
Just as long as I can hold you close
Kiss your lips thinkin' about
Maybe turning them blue jeans inside outI can't wait to get you out of this bar
Right into the seat of my carI'd love to get you out of this bar
Right into the seat of my car
Girl, we don't have to look that hard
To find a little moonlight, baby it's alright
No it don't matter where we go
Just as long as I can hold you close
Kiss your lips thinkin' about
Maybe turning them blue jeans inside outYeah
Maybe turning them blue jeans inside out

Love and Theft is a bit different from the group that scored a Top 10 hit two years ago with “Runaway.” But the changes that have affected the group—most notably, signing with RCA Records and downsizing to a duo—have actually brought Love and Theft closer to what it originally set out to be: a band that writes, records and performs honest, soulful country music. While Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson are proud of their successful first effort, they are excited to have teamed with producer Josh Leo (Alabama, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) on their RCA effort.
