Inside the Flood Lyrics

Knew it's the long way to choose
Waiting, loathing that you wouldn't guide me
Abuse what made it true
Waking, hoping that you would light my wayHome fading, drifting the moment I came to
Losing patience too
No more, no less than this won't pay for meLate when all hell is breaking loose
And I still be searching
Knew that it always ends up hollow
The days I slither into the ooze
Begging for a different life to borrow
The flood inside, it drowns me in the nudeThe flood inside, it drowns me slow
I knew I'm tired, it's time to goFinding all of the answers
Taken over the game
Crashing on all of the fences
You wouldn't lie to meHide it all under water
Stumbling on this chase
As terrifying as this trace is
You still guide meWaiting, knowing that you wouldn't guide me

Knew it's the long way to choose
Late as the night, it's maddening me
Home
Home
HomeKnew that it always ends up hollow
The flood inside, it drowns me in the nude

Long Distance Calling is a post-rock band based in Münster, Germany. They played their first show and released their first 4 song demo EP DMNSTRTN in late September 2006. They play an instrumental rock music, based on heavy guitar riffing and shaking hands with psychedelic and calm elements. As most bands with this description tend to explore dark and depressive moods, these guys change between timid beauty and hard boiled reality in a tough play, always based on a driving rhythm section.
The demo EP DMNSTRTN became "demo of the month" in VISIONS magazine and ROCK HARD magazine.
