Is One Moon Enough? Lyrics

Is one moon enough?
If i can see with my cheap telescope
Bet my neighbor has two or three
Down soon enough
what does it mean
If every time I look up
I see them
Laughing down on me?Take that moon or break across the sea
Everything I want's just out of reach
Is one moon enough
Well, it used to be
When I could see with my own naked eye
She was smiling down on me
Is one ever enough
How could it ever be if my neighbor has more than me
And my moon
Just out of reachTake that moon or break across the sea
Everything I want is further from meMoon down soon enough

Now I can see a million moons that think of
Me and my moon
Is always following me
Take that moon or break across the sea
Everything I want's just out of reach
Why's that moon always following me?
Everything I want's just out of reach
