Is This the End Lyrics

I've got posters on the wall
I hear your little call in the night
And when everything is wrong
I just listen to your song to make it right
Well my hero flew away
Just like a bird of prey took to flight
There's nothing I can say
To change another day of your lifeIs this the end
Is this the end
Or has our time gone out
Before it even begins?
Is this the end
Or has our time gone out
Before it even begins?Whoa-oh-oh-oh
AgainConfusion settles in
Blowing faster than the wind
I can feel the albatrosses overhead
Await with patient dread for their meal

Happy melodies untrue
But still it sticks like glue
She says, "Loving is your loneliness"
"There's nothing left to prove"
But no matter what they say
Won't let 'em have their day
Break and die-hi-hi-hiIs this the end
Is this the end
Or has our time gone out
Before it even begins?
(Time__ Waiting__)
Is this the end
Or has our time gone out
Before it even begins?
(Time__ Waiting__)Whoa-oh-oh-oh
AgainOur rivers flow into our time
We're parallel, side by side
Our rivers flow into our time
We're parallel, side by side
Whoo-oo-ooWell there's nothing you can say
To change another day of your lifeIs this the end
Is this the end
Or has our time gone out
Before it even begins?
(Time__ Waiting__)
Is this the end
Or has our time gone out
Before it even begins?
(Time__ Waiting__)Whoa-oh-oh-oh
Again

The Downtown Fiction are a powerpop band from Fairfax, VA, formed in the summer of 2008 by Cameron Leahy (guitar/vocals) and Eric Jones (drums). The two posted three demos on the band’s MySpace profile and quickly built a following and added David Pavluk (bass/background vocals) to the line up. After a year of touring, The Downtown Fiction announced their signing with Photo Finish / Atlantic Records. The band performed on the 2010 Bamboozle Roadshow and the 2010 Warped Tour and was recently featured in the “100 Bands You Need To Know” issue of Alternative Press Magazine.

The Downtown Fiction released a self-titled EP in March 2009, which included the hits “Living Proof” and “Is Anybody Out There?”. Followed up by an EP titled “Best I Never Had” in March. In August, the music video for “I Just Wanna Run” was released and in December, they released a new EP “The Double E.P.”, including all tracks from the two other EPs and a new demo, “Keep On Moving”.
