Israel Lyrics

You've had your troubles, Israel I've seen them all
But you put the writing on the wall, Israel, Israel, yeah
You know I've seen you fall so many times
I've cried for you and that's a crime, Israel, Israel
Let me hearWhere there's sand, where there's beautiful sand, yeah
You know you got a kind of feeling that's just grand
Take me into your arms, let me be with you
Let me be with you Israel, Israel, IsraelI like the smiles upon your people's faces
They make you feel warm embraces
And I want that kind of smile, that kind of smile
Israel, you make the whole world think about you
And if they don't they'll find a reason to shout about you Israel Israel
You're the only one, Israel IsraelTell me all about it, tell me all about it, tell me all about it
Oh, take me into your arms and make me feel your goodness
Be with me, Israel, hey hey hey hey
Oh oh oh, take me into your arms
Let me hold, hold you to myself, oh, I want you Israel
Once moreOh oh oh, Israel Israel

Oh, take me back into, into your arms
Yeah Israel, yeah Israel
Oh oh oh, I want to hear about you, about you

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
