It's All Good Lyrics

Lazy summer sundown
Front porch of this old house
Lightning bugs in a Mason jar
There's a four lane comin' through
They break ground at the end of June
The counties takin' half my yardIt don't matter too much anyway
In the scheme of things
I still get more than I shouldIt's all good, it's alright
Lord, it's always a good day
When you're glad to be alive
Everything I need, ain't too hard to find
So I don't waste my time complainin'
'Cause I don't see how I could, it's all goodAnother bill in the box today
New boats gonna have to wait
My pick-up truck just broke down
Grass needs movin'
I hear the plant's closin'
It won't be the end of this townFolks round here see things in a different way

That'll never change
There's one thing that's understoodIt's all good, it's alright
Lord, it's always a good day
When you're glad to be alive
Everything I need, ain't too hard to find
So I don't waste my time complainin'
'Cause I don't see how I could, it's all goodIt's all good, it's alright
Lord, it's always a good day
When you're glad to be alive
Everything I need, ain't too hard to find
So I don't waste my time complainin'
'Cause I don't see how I could, it's all good, it's all good
I don't waste my time complainin', it's all good

Montgomery Gentry is a country music duo, founded in the 1990s, consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is the older brother of John Michael Montgomery. Some sources say that Troy Gentry is the son of Bobbie Gentry, which is untrue. Troy's parents are Lloyd and Pat Gentry. Eddie, Troy, and John were in a band called Early Tymz. Eddie and Troy continued to perform after John left to pursue a solo career. The duo went through several name changes before they decided to call themselves Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is bald and seemingly always wears a hat. Eddie also has a habit of twirling his microphone on stage, which has become somewhat of a signature.

The band has released five CDs including "Some People Change" which was released in 2006
