It's All in My Mind Lyrics

I was in the water, I was half a human
I looked into the clouds for war solutionsit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindI was like a wave, I didn't show emotion
I was a hundred years out on the oceanit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindeverything's illusion
and I flatter to deceive
my life is going fast
it's make believeit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindI was in the water, I was half a human
I looked into the clouds for war solutionsit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindI was like a wave, a pulse across the ocean
I was a stone I didn't show emotionit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindeverything's illusion
and I flatter to deceive
my life is going fast
it's make believeit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindit's all in my mind
it's all in my mindeverything's illusion

and I flatter to deceive
my life is going fast
it's make believeit's all in my mind
it's all in my mind

Teenage Fanclub are an indie rock band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys"

Teenage Fanclub are revered for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Songwriting duties are shared between the three permanent members of the band, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love.

In 2006, the band held two special concerts in London and Glasgow, playing their 1991 masterpiece Bandwagonesque in its entirety.

There have been a succession of drummers, including:

- Francis MacDonald (a prime-mover in the C86 scene, later of the BMX Bandits), the drummer in the original lineup, and in a later period
- Brendan O’Hare (later of Telstar Ponies, Thrapple , Mogwai and Macrocosmica)

and

- Paul Quinn (later of The Primary 5), who was later replaced by the returning Francis MacDonald.

Keyboardist Finlay MacDonald (no relation to Francis MacDonald) has also been a member.
