It's Just Us Now Lyrics

start at the lines
now we're really really racing
stepping off thrones, clipping on knees
all that flesh and blood
the real thing
I can see the sun
Going down so rapidlyFever cash
Down below Lincoln St
I believe deeply
In decency (in decency)
And when I'm conscious, I am cursed
Like teeth the size of pick-up trucks
All that flesh and blood
The real thing
And when you die
I wanna die, I wanna die with you
And lay us down for good
And lay us down for gooddon't tone down that symphony

I need something warm
A light jet blast
Cool breeze, cool G
I'm having no hard time
Remembering what's important to me
A lifetime just waiting around
For moments like these
(A lifetime just waiting around)
For moments like these
(A lifetime just waiting around)
For moments like these
And when you die
I wanna die, I wanna die with you
And lay us down for good
And lay us down for goodAnd when you die
I wanna die, I wanna die with you
And lay us down for good
And lay us down for goodAll that flesh and blood
The real thing
All that flesh and blood
The real thing
All that flesh and blood
The real thing
All that flesh and blood
The real thing

Sleigh Bells is an electronic and noise pop duo formed in 2008 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. The band members are Alexis Krauss (vocalist, lyricist) and Derek E. Miller (songwriter, guitarist, producer). Miller was formerly the guitarist for the hardcore band Poison the Well, and Krauss was a member of the teen pop group RubyBlue. In 2008, Miller was waiting tables at a neighborhood Brazilian restaurant, Miss Favela, where he encountered Alexis and her mother. When he mentioned he was looking for a female vocalist to work with on a musical project, Krauss' mother immediately volunteered her.
