Montreal’s You and Me openly share their world as seen by the two founding members - and lovers in life - Shawn Donnelly and Sandra J.. Sometimes joined by bassist Danny Roy or Edmund Lam on classical guitar, they deliver their most intimate material to date. Through acoustic instrumentation and rich vocal harmonies, the desired simplicity of the songs tug at the heartstrings in an innocent yet profound way. Most noted among their influences are The Beatles, Elliott Smith, and Belle and Sebastian.
