It's Not Over Yet Lyrics

And they are inside your head
you gotta voice that says
"You won't get pass this one,
you won't win your freedom"It's like a constant war
and you want to settle that score
but you're bruised and beaten
and you feel defeatedThis goes out to the heaviest heartsOh, to everyone who's hit their limit,
it's not over yet, it's not over yet-et,
and even when you think you're finished,
it's not over yet, it's not over yet-etKeep on fighting,
out of the dark and into the light (it's not over),
hope is rising,
never give in, never give up, it's not overYet-et-et Oh-whoa-a
Yet-et-et Oh-whoa-aOh, game, set, match
time to put it in your past, oh
feel the winter leaving, it's redemption season,
long live the young at heart (here we are),
cheers to a brand-new start (here we are),

we're revived and breathing
to live a live of freedomOh, to everyone who's hit their limit,
it's not over yet, it's not over yet-et,
and even when you think you're finished,
it's not over yet, it's not over yet-etKeep on fighting,
out of the dark and into the light (it's not over),
hope is rising,
never give in, never give up, it's not overYet-et-et Oh-whoa-a
Yet-et-etLife is a race we run,
so run 'til the race is won,
don't you ever give up, oh no, never give upLife is a race we run,
so run 'til the race is won,
don't you ever give up, oh no, never give upOh, to everyone who's hit their limit,
and even when you think you're finished,
it's not over yetOh, to everyone who's hit their limit,
it's not over yet, it's not over yet-et,
and even when you think you're finished,
it's not over yet, it's not over yet-etKeep on fighting,
out of the dark and into the light (it's not over),
hope is rising,
never give in, never give up, it's not overYet-et-et Oh-whoa-a
Yet-et-et Oh-whoa-a
Yet-et-et Oh-whoa-a
Yet-et-et Oh-whoa-a

For King & Country is the new band name of the Australian brothers of Rebecca St. James, formerly known as Joel & Luke.

‘’We were born and raised in the southern hemisphere, the land down-under… Australia. And in case you can’t tell, we are brothers.

Since before we can remember, music has been our life’s natural backdrop and soundtrack. Our Father was a music promoter turned entertainment manager which gave us a first hand introduction to a very eclectic mix of music and live shows.

In the early 90’s we moved to the USA after our Dad was offered a job in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, we have traveled the world (together as well as separately) singing, performing and running various aspects of artists’ live shows.

It was out of experiences like these we began working on music together. We have spent the last several years writing and developing what we call our, ‘International-Pop-Rock’ sound.

Music has the peculiar ability to connect with the soul, and we want to use it to encourage… Life is a journey; full of highs and lows; triumphs and sorrows; these are the subjects we write about: Real human experiences. Whether that means sharing about honest struggles, asking unanswered questions, or talking about relationships, our hope is this music will inspire you and each song will relate to you, right where you are.’‘
