It's Over Now Lyrics

Just another night and I'm all alone
An' I wonder where you are, who you're holding?
An' I'm wasting time by the telephone
It gets harder when there's no way of knowingI thought we'd be together someday
There was nothing that could keep away
Could've worked it out somehow but it's over now
Thought you'd be comin' 'round but it's over nowWhen I close my eyes, I can see your face
There was still so much to discover
All the time we shared, can't be erased
Now you're in the arms of anotherI always thought we make it someday
There was nothing that could keep away
Could've worked it out somehow but it's over now
Thought you'd be comin' 'round but it's over nowIf you broke my heart, I can't let it show
I can take the pain, I can't let you go
Some people change, I guess it had to be
Even though you're gone now, you still mean so much to meJust another day, I'm still holdin' on
No matter how I try, I can't shake this feelin'
Yeah, I'm sitting here like nothings wrong

I'm still lookin' for someone to believe inI thought we'd be together someday
There was nothing that could keep me away
Could've worked it out somehow
But it's over nowI thought you'd be comin' 'round
But it's over now
Could've worked it out
But it's over now

L.A. Guns is the name of two glam metal groups from Los Angeles, California. One group is led by Guitarist Tracii Guns while the other version is led by Vocalist Phil Lewis & Drummer Steve Riley. The group was initially formed in 1983 and was composed of guitarist Tracii Guns, singer Axl Rose (who left to form Hollywood Rose and was replaced by Michael Jagosz), bassist Ole Beich and drummer Rob Gardner. The group disbanded in 1984 when Tracii Guns and Axl Rose decided to merge both L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose to form the first lineup of Guns N' Roses.
