It's a Long Way to Heaven Lyrics

If we can't be like a story book
Pardon me, if I don't take a look
Don't wanna know
If we can't make the music blend
And let the song sing and know the end
Then I'll be moving down the roadIt's a long way to Heaven
And I'm so tired of being alone
So think it over and just be sure
If we can make it last that longIf you can't look me in the eyes
And make me never wanna say goodbye
Then I can't see
Wasting all that precious time
If tomorrow is all we're going to find
Is I'm not the one you really needIt's a long way to Heaven
And I'm so tired of being alone
So think it over and just be sure
If we can make it last that longNow I'd like to know if we can always sing a song
I'd like to know if this love is right or wrongIt's a long way to Heaven

And I'm so tired of being alone
So think it over and just be sure
We can make it last that longIt's a long way to heaven
And I'm so tired of being alone

The Partridge Family was an American television sitcom about a widowed mother and her five children, that lived in a small fictional town in Northern California. In the pilot episode the musical family records a pop song in their garage. Through the marketing efforts of 10-year- old son Danny the song becomes a hit. The family begins touring the country in a colorful 1957 Chevrolet school bus, performing their music in various types of venues. The episodes would often contrast their suburban life with the adventures of a show-biz family "on the road".
