Ivory Coast Lyrics

For 24 hours on the Ivory Coast,
They relieved soldiers from their post,
And they gave champagne, for a toast,
To pay dividends to the country's host.
They say, Tonight, you can leave your home,
But tomorrow, it's gonna be the way of the gun,
And the curfew, won't allow you to roam, roam, roam,
And the bullets will let you know, when the bad dog comes 'round your door....
Who is the killer
(Wooooh ohhh oh!)
Who is the killer
(Wooooh ohhh oh!)
Stone-cold killer,
(Woooooh ohhh oh!)
Food for the trigger,
(Wohhhh ohh ohh!)
I'll shoot ya down, right on sight,
If you're out in the wrong time of night,

In a civil war, there's no civil rights,
In the day of the dead, run for your life.
They say, tonight, you can leave your home,
And tomorrow, will be the way of the gun,
And the curfew, won't allow you to you roam, roam, roam,
And the bullets will let you know, when the bad dog comes 'round your door....
Who is the killer
(Wooooh ohhh oh!)
Who is the killer
(Wooooh ohhh oh!)
Stone-cold killer,
(Woooooh ohhh oh!)
Food for the trigger,
(Wohhhh ohh ohh!)
And the trenches are dug,
And the bones they do shiver,
The tastes of war, so cold and bitter,
And the human race is the face of the killer,
And the cost of life is rarely considered.
They say, tonight, you can leave your home,
But tomorrow, but tomorrow, it's gonna be the way of the gun,
And the curfew, won't allow you to roam, roam, roam,
And the bullets will let you know, when the bad dog comes 'round your door....
Who is the killer?
(Wooooh ohhh oh!)
Who is the killer?
(Wooooh ohhh oh!)
Stone-cold killer,
(Woooooh ohhh oh!)
Food for the trigger,
(Wohhhh ohh ohh!)

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
