Jamboree Lyrics

One for the treble adjust the levels
The bass got swallowed by an 808
Ringtones for nickels and dimes
We don't hear music, jukebox needs changeScratch your temple, the kids are listening
Think tank says short attention span
People are people more than business is business
Found a new marketing planWho rocks the show 'til it's good to go?
Put some money in the bank and tell the crowd, thanks
Come on, jamboree
Nickel and dime music machineEven if it's a tough pill to swallow
Entertainers, role models
Cowbells, tambourines
Somebody's listeningCome on everybody, good times, get ready
Decorate the room, confetti
We celebrate not to escape
Both feet on the stage ready to engagePoint to the sky like you know where to aim
Wish it was as easy to keep the faith
Willing to say, God will make way

But it's a dangerous place to get paid to motivateWho rocks the show 'til it's good to go?
Put some money in the bank and tell the crowd, thanks
Come on, jamboree
Nickel and dime music machineEven if it's a tough pill to swallow
Entertainers, role models
Cowbells, tambourines
Somebody's listeningIsolated booth, soundproofed with a mattress
Sound man, turn me up, are we tracking?
In good conscience if it's alright
Step out the booth and find a spotlightCouldn't afford a ticket so I stole the show
Cool, can I kick it like a pair of steel toes?
Change my shoes once I'm through the door
Like Mr. Rogers to be more comfortableWorking hard on a real good time
If you don't mind, come on, clap your hands
I wanna party without saying party
Control the crowd without making demandsWho rocks the show 'til it's good to go?
Put some money in the bank and tell the crowd, thanks
Come on, jamboree
Nickel and dime music machineEven if it's a tough pill to swallow
Entertainers, role models
Cowbells, tambourines
Somebody's listeningWho rocks the show?Come on and jamboree
It's like cowbells and tambourines
Come on, jamboree
Cowbells, tambourinesCome on and jamboree
(Come on, jamboree)
Cowbells and tambourines
(Nickel and dime music machine)
Come on and jamboree
(Cowbells, tambourines)
Nickel and dime music machine
(Somebody's listening)Come on, jamboree
Nickel and dime music machine
Cowbells, tambourines
Everybody's hereCome on, jamboree
Nickel and dime music machine
Cowbells, tambourines
Everybody's here
