Johnny Mortgage Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Pay the rentWorking, working, he's working so hard
Pushing, pushing, he's pushing his car
A wife, a house, and a dog and two kids
The IRS squeeze out the piss
Status, status, status apparatus
The government takes then they ask us
If the kids go hungry and start to cry
If the kids go hungry you tell 'emIt will all, it will all, it will all work out
All it will all it will all work outHungry, hungry, hungry and tired
Boss says to work or you'll get fired

Work, work, work your ethic
Take it home, it's mathematic
Working, working, working so hard
Pushing, pushing, pushing his car
Wife goes hungry, starts to cry
If the wife goes hungry you tell herIt will all, it will all, it will all work out
All it will all it will all work outEverybody's got to be
Got to be a somebody
Everbody's got to be
Got to be a someoneIt will all, it will all, it will all work out
All it will all it will all work out

Blue Meanies were an American ska-core band founded in Carbondale, Illinois, at Southern Illinois University, in 1989. They debuted in 1991 with the release of their first single, "Grandma Shampoo" c/w "Dickory Dock". This single would be the start of a lengthy discography and revolving lineup. Although their personnel was continually changing, The Meanies' sound would remain consistent as they released the albums Peace Love Groove (1991), Pave The World (1992), Kiss Your Ass Goodbye (1995), Full Throttle (1997), and the live Sonic Documentation Of Exhibition And Banter (1998).
