Just A Little Bit (US Album Version) Lyrics

Just a little bit stronger
Just a little bit wiser
Just a little less needyAnd maybe I'd get there...Just a little bit pretty
Just a little more aware
Just a little bit thinnerAnd maybe I'd get there...Clearly, clearly I remember
Hiking up my skirt
Asking for your timeClearly, clearly I remember
Nervous if ever confronted
And questioning myselfOh perhaps, perhaps if I got better
Perhaps if I challenged myself
Perhaps if I wasJust a little bit stronger
Just a little bit wiser
Just a little less needyAnd maybe I'd get there...Just a little bit pretty
Just a little more aware
Just a little bit thinnerAnd maybe I'd get there...Clearly, clearly I remember
Pulling up my shirt
Staring blank aheadClearly, clearly I remember
Days of useless crying

Almost feeling deadOh perhaps, perhaps if I was smaller
Perhaps, I could control myself
Perhaps if I wasJust a little bit stronger
Just a little bit wiser
Just a little less needyAnd maybe I'd get there...Just a little bit pretty
Just a little more aware
Just a little bit thinnerAnd maybe I'd get there...Just a little bit stronger
Just a little bit wiser
Just a little less needyAnd maybe I'd get there...Just a little bit pretty
Just a little more aware
Just a little bit thinnerAnd maybe I'd get there...oooooaaaah oooooaaahhh
ooooaaaah oaaa'aaahJust a little bit pretty
Just a little more aware
Just a little bit thinnerAnd maybe I'd get there...

Maria Viktoria Mena (born February 19, 1986) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. Mena was thirteen years old she moved to live with her musician father. She sang and wrote lyrics as a form of therapy for her feelings and frustrations. Not all the stories in her diary became songs, but "My Lullaby" was one of them, expressing her pain from her parents' divorce. After pleading with her father to make a demo, he contacted some industry experts to record Maria's songs in the studio. Then he presented his daughter's demo to the music industry. Sony Music signed Maria Mena to their label.
