Just Another Country Road Lyrics

Hooray for progress, good times have begun
We're traveling first class in Century 21
But it's just the same old blues
Just another country roadHaving conversations criss-cross thru the sky
Why bother walking when baby you can fly
It's just the same old news
Just another country roadBanks get bigger while the world grows small
They tell me it's better, but the country's in a crawl
'Cause it's just the same old news
Just another country road
Feel like I'm riding blind
And leaving a lot behind
You'll book out on that Freedom Train
Wind up back at where you started againThey grin at the people, say "Drill, baby, drill"
But look in the water, it's "Kill, baby, kill"
It's just the same old blues
Just another country road
You save time and paper but you're still on the run

Dollar's disappearing like vapor in the sun
It's just the same old blues
Just another country road
