Just Drive Lyrics

We couldn't stay on the tailgate
It started raining
So we drove around for awhile
Then passed your house three timesI knew that you were holdin' back something
'Cause you turned to me each time
And said, "Just drive"So I'll follow the yellow line
And you can tell me what's on your mindIs it trouble with love or just everyday life
Are you cryin' yourself to sleep at night
Oh, should I ask if you're alright
Or keep it to myself and just driveThe only time I saw you smilin'
We were crossin' the city limit line
Into the great divide
The old truck kept rollin'
We didn't notice the fading rear view lights
Of the town we left behindIt feels like we're on the run
But what are you runnin' from?Is it trouble with love or just everyday life
Are you cryin' yourself to sleep at night
Oh, should I ask if you're alright

Or keep it to myself and just driveSo I'll follow the yellow line
And you can tell me what's on your mindIs it trouble with love or just everyday life
Are you cryin' yourself to sleep at night
Oh, should I ask if you're alright
Or keep it to myself and just driveJust drive

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Where Doc Walker’s 2009 release, GO, focused on the endless comings and goings that characterize life on the road, their new album, 16&1, finds the band looking back at the roots that they’ve grown so deep over time, celebrating how far they’ve come since first putting them down and moving forward all the stronger for having done so. That said 16&1 doesn’t play like some pensive re-examination of the past.
