Just Enough To Love You Lyrics

Push me out from the darkness
To a sky that's colored blue
Somewhere someone's finding happiness
While I'm still here so hung up on youNothing is real and I want you to know
That I'm not alright tear open my chest
I'll try not to flinch won't make promises
I won't make promises, you taught me thatI'm still losing what's left out
My self esteem and I'm still watching
The slow fading of all my daydreamsThe hardest things to say
Are the words that mean the most
So I'll bite my tongue till it bleeds
And I doubt you'll even knowThe easiest thing to fake
Are feeling to fool someone else
And I've been tricked for so long by you
That I spent these last few months in my own hellA failed apology
A day too late but now I see
That all you really want is to see me
Dangle neck first from a treeWhat would you need me for

You've got friends galore
And all you've ever been to me
Is a waist of time and nothing moreNothing is real and I want you to know
That I'm not alright when you tear open my chest
I'll try not to flinch, I won't make promises
You've taught me thatI hate myself
For loving you like this
And I hate myself for hating myself
Just enough to love you
Just enough to love you

Formed in October of 2000, Bayside consisted of four musicians looking for a chance to play music the rest of their lives. They recorded a demo and the band began playing shows around Long Island, NY. They quickly caught the eye of Brooklyn, New York's Dying Wish Records, who released their first EP, "Long Stories Short", featuring the songs "Foot Impressions", "Days Of My Life", "Red Head VS. The Pretty Red Bracelet", "Downtime", "Ask For It", and "Advance Letter Goodbye".
