Just My Luck Lyrics

I got tired of losin'
So I covered my tracks
I left love behind me
It was a thing of the pastAnd I got back on me feet again
With something new in my stride
Well, I was just telling my girlfriends yesterday
How I was doin' alrightI was livin' the good life
None of that silly love stuff
Then I went and fell for you
Ain't that just my luck?I got a house in the country
I got a garden that grows
I got nobody tellin' me
"Hey, turn down that radio"I made my life real simple
A couple of cats and me
I don't get bored or lonely
As long as there's somethin' on TVI was livin' the good life
None of that silly love stuff
Then I went and fell for you

Ain't that just my luck?Is it just my luck or a twist of fate?
I was ready to close the book
Then you went, turned the pageYeah, I was livin' the good life
None of that silly love stuff
Then I went and fell for you
Ain't that just my luck?I was livin' the good life
None of that silly love stuff
Then I went and fell for you
Ain't that just my luck?Ain't that just my luck?
Ain't that just my luck?
