Just a Little Talk with Jesus Lyrics

I once was lost in sin but Jesus took me in,
And then a little light from heaven filled my soul;
It bathed my heart in love and wrote my name above,
And just a little talk with Jesus made me whole.(Now let us)
Have a little talk with Jesus,
(Let us)
Tell him all about our troubles,(He will)
Hear our faintest cry,
(He will)
Answer by and by;(Now when you)
Feel a little prayer wheel turning,
(And you)
Know a little fire is burning,
(You will)
Find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.Sometimes my path seems drear, without a ray of cheer,
And then a cloud of doubt may hide the light of day;
The mists of sin rise may rise and hide the stormy skies,
And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right.(Now let us)

Have a little talk with Jesus,
(Let us)
Tell him all about our troubles,(He will)
Hear our faintest cry,
(He will)
Answer by and by,(Now when you)
Feel a little prayer wheel turning,
(And you)
Know a little fire is burning,
(You will)
Find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.I may have doubts and fears, my eyes be filled with tears,
But Jesus is a friend who watches day and and night;
I go to him in prayer, He knows my every care,
And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right.(Now let us)
Have a little talk with Jesus,
(Let us)
Tell him all about our troubles,(He will)
Hear our faintest cry,
(He will)
Answer by and by;(Now when you)
Feel a little prayer wheel turning,
(And youl)
Know a little fire is burning,
(You will)
Find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.

Bill Monroe (September 13, 1911 – September 9, 1996) developed the style of country music known as bluegrass, which takes its name from his band, the "Blue Grass Boys," named for his home state of Kentucky. Monroe's performing career spanned 60 years as a singer, instrumentalist, composer and bandleader. He is often referred to as "the father of bluegrass." In the rock (and roll) community, Bill Monroe may be best known via one of Elvis Presley's earliest recordings at Sun Records, that of Monroe's 'Blue Moon of Kentucky'. Patsy Cline also made a highly regarded version of this song.
