Just a Sign (feat. Playboy Tre) Lyrics

Looking at the world from my rearview
Searching for an answer up high
Or is it all wasted time?
Everything is crumbling around me
Feels like the ending of the times
Or is it all just a sign?
Uh, I dozed off on my notebook,
Ever since, never woke up
Hey, I've been travelling for lifetimes
Still I got many miles 'fore it's over
Yeah, I kept on hunting like I'm supposed to
But everything in the world ain't kosher,
See it's crazy when your friends turn to strangers,
But then strangers running up like they know you.
And the further away from reality I go,
I can feel the truth getting closer
But hey, it's a path that we all on,
If you in the fast lane or the slow one

And you might break down on the shoulder
You just gotta know who to call for the tow-truck
I guess we all gotta exit to the next boulevard where the roads are.
Looking at the world from my rearview
Searching for an answer up high
Or is it all wasted time?
Simulated automated breakthroughs,
Everything appears to be fine,
Or are we all digitized?
Everything is crumbling around me,
Feels like the ending of the times,
Or is it all Just A Sign?
Yeah, sometimes, sometimes I wonder
if what I'm seeing in front of me is even real.
Yeah, go n' roll up some of that killa
We call this slasher smoking,
Gone off that Michael Myers
I can barely keep my lashes open
6 shots of the rum I'm done
Thinking about my partners death
I'm angry, in a flash he was gone
Man how can that day not rearrange me
All of my days, they cloudy,
All of my nights, they rowdy,
He told me "Tre keep suckers in the rib
If so then smash 'em proudly"
Is it all in my head?
Am I just wasting time?
All of my rearview mirror,
Looking for answers 'bout to lose my mind.
Looking at the world from my rearview
Searching for an answer up high
Or is it all wasted time?
Simulated automated breakthroughs,
Everything appears to be fine,
Or are we all digitized?
They say you only get one lifetime,
Then it's gone in a blink of an eye,
Or is it all just in my mind?
Everything is crumbling around me,
Feels like the ending of the times,
Or is it all Just A Sign?
I saw the lights dancing up so high,
I wonder is it really a sign?
Or just imagination, imagination
Escorted Rivers flooded off the sky
Pouring from the sands of time
Congratulations, we finally made it! - (x2)
Looking at the world from my rearview
Searching for an answer up high
Or is it all wasted time?
Simulated automated breakthroughs,
Everything appears to be fine,
Or are we all digitized?
They say you only get one lifetime,
Then it's gone in a blink of an eye,
Or is it all just in my mind?
Everything is crumbling around me,
Feels like the ending of the times,
Or is it all Just A Sign?

Bobby Ray Simmons (born November 15, 1988 in Decatur, Georgia), better known by his stage name B.o.B, is a Grammy Award-nominated American rapper, singer and producer signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Label and Atlantic Records. In 2007 he released his debut EP Eastside, and has since released another EP, 12th Dimension, and five mixtapes. His debut album, B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray, was released in April 2010 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The first single from the album, Nothin' on You featuring Bruno Mars, peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album spawned two further hit singles including international smash Airplanes and Billboard hit Magic. The album has since been certified Gold by the RIAA for shipments of over 500,000 copies in the US.

The first single from B.o.B's second album is Strange Clouds. It features Lil Wayne and according to the Strange Clouds Songfacts, it "is 3 minutes 47 seconds of bass heavy bragging.". The song was released on October 3, 2011.

B.o.B has a unique talent in that he produces, writes, raps, arranges, and mixes his own music. He is a one stop music creation shop from top to bottom. This allows B.o.B the rare opportunity of recording with reckless abandon. It is a freedom that he willingly accepts. “I am constantly coming up with songs and concepts because I want to sound different. Nobody made it by sounding like everyone else.” This unique sound caught the attention of two industry heavyweights, Jim Jonsin and TJ Chapman, who are poised to make the rest of the world believers.
