Justice Aversion Lyrics

Happens on a side street, maybe
Happens on a main street, maybe
Lion bites zebra neck
Zebra stomps lion headIt's justice
Justice aversion
In a proper way, 'cause I don't todayAnd root for the underdog
No matter who they are
At the bank robber in the getaway carIt's justice
Justice aversion
In a proper way, 'cause I don't todayI could stay up all night talking
About animal nature
And universe hesitant
And the grand ? ?It happened on a side street, maybe
It happened on a main street, maybeIt's justice
Justice aversionAnd root for the underdog
No matter who they are
At the bank robber in the getaway car

Bill Callahan, born in Silver Spring, Maryland. Callahan followed the lo-fi genre of underground rock, with homemade tape-albums recorded on four track tape recorders. Later he signed a record contract with the label drag city. Callahan started out as a highly experimental artist, utilizing sub-standard instruments and recording equipment. His reason for using the lo-fi approach was not so much an aesthetic choice, rather it came from his lack of knowledge of recording studios, and fear of giving up control to professional engineers.
