Keep It G.a.n.g.s.t.a. Lyrics

A gangsta's for every day
So make sure that you keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
And now that I know the game
I'll make sure that I keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
Me and the ghetto where the poor people hang
Please pay attention, they do ghettoish thangs
One out of three, yep, a third of 'em bang
The other motherfuckers they be slangin' that cane
Always out for money 'cause the money's the game
Eastside homey, it's a Long Beach thang
You heard me right nigga, this is DPG
With the superwoman standin', claimin' CPT
I promise I'ma keep it G
Rep my south team, hands in the street
Recognize game and they recognize me
'Cause a G like me comes naturally
Those haters try to hate on me
But they got no choice but to do right by me

There's no way o' dividin' me
'Cause my OG's in the streets gon' ride for me
I promise to do ghetto things
'Cause I'm the closest thing to ghetto in this industry
That's why I be chillin' when it's 90 degrees
While ya keep shit poppin', how I ride this beat
And people always sayin' to me
How can I tell I'm really a G? 'Cause an OG told a gangsta
A gangsta told a playa, a playa told Nate
And Nate just said to me
A gangsta's for every day
So make sure that you keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
And now that I know the game
I'll make sure that I keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
(Look, X to the Z)
I'm shifty, versus runnin' a buck 50
Tryin' to get large enough bank to get Britney
I'ma do Britney like Bobby did Whitney
Fuck her whole life off, donate my kidney
Wake up to vodka, crash with the whiskey
My name holdin' to much weight, you can't lift me
Came from my first out ghetto with King Tipsy
Hold a torch over my city, you can't miss me
Niggas say fuck me but can't fuck wit' me
Twist this shit, make your finger tips sticky
I need me a wify, shit, I mean wifey
I'm so fucked up, I couldn't read my own writin'
Clash of the Titan, no propaganda
Big shots are hummin' for you, Tony Montana
T-shirt, khakis, tucked in bandannas
Livin' amongst the most scandalous on the planet
A gangsta's for every day
So make sure that you keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
And now that I know the game
I'll make sure that I keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
A gangsta's for every day
So make sure that you keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A
And now that I know the game
I'll make sure that I keep it G.A.N.G.S.T.A

Nathaniel Dwayne Hale (born August 19, 1969 in Long Beach, California; died March 15, 2011 in Long Beach, California), better known by his stage name Nate Dogg, was a Grammy-nominated American singer and occasional rapper. He was known especially for his one of a kind hooks and vocals, and like they say: "it ain't a hit until Nate Dogg spit". After serving in the US Marine Corps for three years he returned to California and formed the rap group 213 with his cousin Snoop Dogg and friend Warren G. He was soon signed to Death Row Records along with Snoop, and he made his debut on Dr. Dre's 1992 album The Chronic. Singing in what would later become his trademark style, he was well-received by fans and critics alike, and in 1994 he produced his first hit single "Regulate" with Warren G. Nate Dogg released his debut album under Breakaway Records in 1998 after a tumultuous time at Death Row Records. The double album was titled G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 & 2 and was followed up in 2001 with Music & Me on Elektra Records, 2002's Essentials and 2003's Nate Dogg. Also he was featured on the hit single 'Shake That' from Eminem's fifth studio album Curtain Call. Nate Dogg was a West Coast icon, and he tragically passed away on the morning of March 15, 2011. R.I.P. Nate you will be missed.
