Keep Lovin' You Lyrics

From the projects to them penthouses
From polyester to them pretty Fendi print blouses, I send flowers
Soon after that disaster with them Twin Towers
No regrets ma, respects to the tenth power
Love's involved when bubbles and the suds dissolve
And no more bars is left visible to cover the scars
Truth is real with hopes you'll never lose the drill
So for now let’s just cruise and chill
I'ma keep lovin' you
And I'ma keep holdin' you
No matter what the situation is
I'm for you
No matter how high I have to climb
No matter how low I have to go
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna love you
Baby, you're my love, my everythin'
You are my soul, the only thing

That can make me feel the way I do
Like I ain't got nothin' to lose
I ain't got a care in the world
'Cause I know I'm your man, you're my girl
They can say what they wanna say
'Cause I know it ain't gonna change a thing
I'ma keep lovin' you
And I'ma keep holdin' you
No matter what the situation is
I'm for you
No matter how high I have to climb
No matter how low I have to go
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna love you
You're the only one I need in my life
If lovin' you is wrong then I don't wanna be right
Best thing to happen to me
Everythin' about you girl is made for me
You're my light, my sun, my rain
You're my life, my joy, my pain
Girl, it can't get better than this
It can't feel no better than this
I can't let you go
I don't care who knows
Don't care what it is
We gonna pass the test
'Cause you're number one
For me, girl you're the one
For me you're number one
And I'm gonna keep on lovin' you
It's a joy bein’ a part of what the soul starburst
Find a piece without pickin' up a chrome revolver
My cologne is like a known massager
Not navi but spoken for so don't bother
I see you lookin', but who is this essential bookin'
Love cookin' with an aura that could keep you cushin'
Call her my queen, plus she do all them things in between
My only beef is to shower
‘Cause she sure she can sing and can't hit a note
Lessons learnt we all live to cope
And in return two souls connect and give they oath
Curse or gift is double but it's worth the trip
'Cause believe I be the first to flip
Can I get my brothers to help me say I'm gonna
(I'ma keep lovin' you)
Through the storm and the rain
(I'ma love you)
Through sickness and pain
(I'ma keep lovin' you)
Everyday of my life
(I'ma love you)
Till the day I die
(I'ma keep lovin' you)
No matter what it is
(I'ma love you)
No matter where we go
(I'ma keep lovin' you)
Want the whole world to know
I'ma keep lovin' you
I'ma keep holdin' you
No matter what the situation is
I'm for you
No matter how high I have to climb
No matter how low I have to go
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna love you
I'ma keep lovin' you
And I'ma keep holdin' you
No matter what the situation is
I'm for you
No matter how high I have to climb
No matter how low I have to go
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna keep lovin' you
And I'm gonna keep holdin' you
No matter what the situation is
I'm for you
No matter how high I have to climb
No matter how low I have to go
I'm gonna love you

Dave Hollister, cousin of music act K-Ci and JoJo, started developing fame as a musician in the early 1990s. Some of his biggest early appearances were with 2Pac on tracks like "Brenda's Got A Baby."

His next big move was when he was signed to Teddy Riley's R&B group BLACKstreet in 1994. He worked with the group on their first album and then left the group to pursue his own solo career. He was signed to DreamWorks Records and began working on an album.

In 1999, Hollister released his first albumm, Ghetto Hymns. The album was successful, going gold, and creating one hit single, "My Favorite Girl." "My Favorite Girl" reached #10 on the R&B charts.

Hollister's follow-up album, Chicago '85... The Movie was released in 2000. The album was an autobiographical work and went gold. "One Woman Man" the album's biggest single, reached #8 on the R&B charts.

For his third effort, Hollister moved to Motown Records. He hoped the new label would instill new energy into his music. The album, Things In the Game Done Changed was released in 2002 and faired poorly on the charts and radio.

As a result of the album's shortcomings, Hollister returned to DreamWorks where he released Real Talk in 2003. Following the album's release, Hollister moved to Gospo Centric.

Hollister is reportedly wrapping up his fifth album in the industry, The Book of David: Vol. 1 The Transition. The album will be coming out on September 26, 2006 from Gospo Centric.
