Kids (Live at Knebworth) Lyrics

Me no bubbletious
Me smoke heavy tar
Me be grooving slowly where you are
Notify your next of kin
'Cause you're never coming back
I've been dropping beats since back in blackAnd we'll paint by numbers
'Til something sticks
I don't mind doin' it for the kids
So come onJump on board, take a ride, yeah
You'll be doing it all right
Jump on board, feel the high
'Cause the kids are alrightYou've got a reputation
Well, I guess that can be explored
You're dancing with the chairman of the board
Take a ride on my twelve cylinder symphony
But if you got other plans
The purpose of a woman is to love her manAnd we'll paint by numbers
'Til something sticks

I don't mind doing it for the kids
So come onJump on board, take a ride, yeah
Doing it all right
Jump on board, feel the high
'Cause the kids are alrightI'm gonna give it all of my lovin'
It's gonna take up all of my love
I'm gonna give it all of my lovin'
It's gonna take up all of my love
I'm gonna give it all of my lovin'
It's gonna take up all of my love
I'm gonna give it all of my lovin'
It's gonna take up all of my loveCome down from the ceilin'
I didn't mean to get so high
I couldn't do what I wanted to do
When my lips were dry
You can't just step up and leave me
I'm a singer in a band
Well, I like drummers baby
You're not my bagJump on board, take a ride, yeah
You'll be doing it all right
Jump on board feel the high, yeahJump on board, take a ride, yeah
You'll be doing it all night
Jump on board, feel the high, yeah
'Cause he gets it alrightI'm an honorary Sean Connery, born seventy four
There's only one of me
Single handedly raising the economy
Ain't no chance, the record company dropping me
Press be asking do I care for sodomyI don't know, yeah, probably
I've been looking for serial monogamy
Not some bird that looks like Billy Connelly
But for now I'm down for ornithology
Grab your binoculars, come follow meI like to drink it out but never like to sip it uhh uhh
I like to drink it out but never like to sip it uhh uhh
I like to drink it out but never like to sip it uhh uhhI like to drink it out but never like to sip it uhh uhh
I like to drink it out but never like to sip it uhh uhh
I like to drink it out, drink it out, drink it out
Like a beat yaTo the floor, to the beat I got
To the floor, to the beat I got
To the floor, to the beat I gotStarting out
To the beat, to the beat I got
To the beat, to the beat I got
To the beat, to the beat I got

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
