Kill the Lights Lyrics

Hop in, you and me, little back road, barely see
Right song, radio
Throw in row, and drive slow
I saw you, and it lit me up
A girl like you it's just too muchKill the lights, kill the lights
You can take me there tonight
We can let some sparks fly
We can make the dark fly
Feel the ride, take me high
Yellow moon in your eyes
Lost in your slow skirt, in the middle of nowhere
Skin to skin, don't care where we've been
Pull me in and kill the lightsWe can feel all the way through
Let me just hold on to you
Baby trust my hands
Live it up while we still can
And kill the lights, kill the lights
You can take me there tonight

We can let some sparks fly
We can make the dark cry
Feel the ride, take me high
Yellow moon in your eyes
Lost in your slow skirt, in the middle of nowhere
Skin to skin, don't care where we've been
Pull me in and kill the lightsDon't it feel right?
Until the sun rise
We can just grow old, what we knowCan't help
The more I want you
You wanna do this don't ya
Come here let me pull you closer
You reach overAnd kill the lights, kill the lights
You can take me there tonight
We can let some sparks fly
We can make the dark cry
Feel the ride, take me high
Yellow moon in your eyes
Lost in your slow skirt, in the middle of nowhere
Skin to skin, don't care where we've been
Skin to skin, don't care where we've been
Pull me in and kill the lightsKill the lights
Baby you and me kill the lights
Kill the lights

Luke Bryan grew up in the very small town of Leesburg, Ga. Back home, he helped his father with his peanut and fertilizer businesses while playing sports and enjoying the great outdoors. Yet he can remember his mother urging him to belt out George Strait songs over and over while she drove him into town to shop. By age 14, his parents bought him an Alvarez guitar. By 15, his father would take him down to a nearby club, Skinner's, where he shared guitar licks and lead vocals with other local country singers.
